Privacy Policy
How Yggmira handles personal data on this website, in support communication and in Yggmira Vault licensing.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Yggmira (CVR 46803868), owned by Rico Løvkvist Christensen, Sorvad-Bjerg 3, 8961 Allingåbro, Denmark, is the data controller for personal data processed directly by Yggmira. Contact: kontakt@yggmira.dk.
2. Scope
This policy covers yggmira.com, email and support communication with Yggmira, and the Yggmira Vault licence and activation service. Purchases processed through Lemon Squeezy are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's own privacy information because Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for the transaction.
3. Website data
The Yggmira website is currently a static website and does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Video shown on the Yggmira Vault page is self-hosted.
Normal web-server and security logs may contain an IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser/user-agent information and technical error information. These logs are used to operate, troubleshoot and protect the service. The legal basis is Yggmira's legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation.
4. Email and support
If you contact Yggmira, we may process your name, email address, message content, attachments and the technical information you choose to provide. This is used to answer your request, provide support, handle pre-contract enquiries or perform obligations connected with a licence.
5. Purchase and licence information
When a purchase is processed through Lemon Squeezy, Yggmira may receive transaction information needed to issue and maintain the software licence. This can include order and transaction identifiers, customer name and email address, product and variant identifiers, order status, purchase time, refund status and transaction amounts.
This information is used to issue the licence, maintain update entitlement, support customers, prevent duplicate or fraudulent processing and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
6. Device activation
Yggmira Vault may require online activation to enforce the purchased activation limit. The activation service processes the licence identifier, activation identifier and a product-specific hashed device identifier.
The device identifier is derived using SHA-256 from Yggmira Vault's product identifier and the Linux machine-id. The raw Linux machine-id is not sent to or stored by Yggmira. After successful activation, the application is designed to validate the signed licence and activation locally and to remain usable offline.
7. Legal bases
Depending on the situation, Yggmira processes personal data because it is necessary to perform a contract or take steps at your request before a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or because Yggmira has a legitimate interest in providing support, securing services and enforcing licence limits.
8. Cookies
Yggmira.com currently does not set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated before such technologies are used.
9. Recipients and service providers
Yggmira only shares personal data where necessary for the purposes described above, for example with infrastructure, email or technical service providers. Lemon Squeezy handles purchase transactions as merchant of record and uses its own payment infrastructure and privacy terms.
10. International transfers
Some third-party services, including payment-related services used by Lemon Squeezy, may process data outside the EEA. Those providers are responsible for describing the safeguards they apply to their own processing. Yggmira does not add independent third-party advertising or analytics services to the website at this time.
11. Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for any applicable legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution requirements. Technical log retention is based on operational and security needs. Licence and transaction records may need to be retained for the lifetime of the licence and for relevant statutory record-keeping periods.
12. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
To exercise a privacy right, contact kontakt@yggmira.dk. We may need enough information to verify that the request relates to you.
13. Automated processing
The licence service automatically checks whether the activation limit for a licence has been reached. This is a technical licence-control function and is not used for advertising profiling.
14. Changes
This policy may be updated when Yggmira changes its services, providers or legal obligations. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
